Pet Peeve #613 and #614
It just so happens that both of them were brought to light during my lunchtime visit to Barnes and Noble today.
#613-People who don't observe the "Barnes & Noble is not a library yet we all treat it that way and be quiet" rule.
#614-Dustcovers...I've never had a good experience with a book dustcover. They slide around...they fold...they crease....it's just an irritating and useless accessory.

I would like to comment on #613 & #614. I am not so concerned with the #613 yet I can understand your pain. If people want a quiet place to read or study they should go home. #614 This one goes a little deeper. I think book covers were invented by the Bad Authors Guild. When in today's society everyone has to be captivated quickly by bright lights and explosions. The phrase "don't judge a book by it's cover" is not taken to heart. The problem is we all judge a book by it's cover. Even Bibles these days have Sweet graphics. What happened to the good Ole genuine bonded leather. Perservere my brother
