Advice from the guru
A buddy of mine Eric...who I like to think of as my personal relationship advice guru...gave me this piece of advice regarding the wedding.
He said, "Just remember that the wedding is about two people....her and her mother."

Too funny, and sadly often true. My mom lived in Cally when I got married (in IN) so she wasn't involved outside of their guestlist. And paying for most of it. :)
